Happy February! Just wanted to give a really short and quick update. I had a PET scan last week and wanted to share the results. When comparing the new scan to the scan from March 2025, it is MUCH improved!! The spots in my liver, hip and left are no longer showing uptake (glowing). The only spot still showing uptake is my right humerus. I have had an ablation and radiation on this spot, and it is considerably smaller, but still there. Word of caution, this does not necessarily mean that the cancer is gone in those spots. What it does mean is that my treatment is working! I will provide you with the same reminder that I received. The treatment I am on is generally just a temporary fix. The cancer finds a way to grow around the treatment after a year or two. That being said, I AM GOING TO TAKE THIS WIN!

It is difficult for me to express how happy I am to finally have some good news and know that my misery and suffering over the past 14 months have led to this progress. I will continue to be optimistic, upbeat and continue hoping and praying for my miracle. I will also share that I plan to celebrate until I can't celebrate anymore. I'm going to check off items on my Wish List, make extra visits to my favorite Mexican restaurant, finally get to a Hornets game this season, eat that extra piece of Ghirardelli and laugh a little longer. I have so many things to look forward to this spring - my birthday, London, Jackson's graduation, and I feel I have the monkey off my back for a few months to really be able to enjoy these things. The reality of having cancer is you tend to live your life a few months at a time - scan to scan. I'm going to ride these scan results and enjoy myself as much as a I can!

Just wanted to share the news. Have some chips & salsa or a drink to help me celebrate! Please keep the thoughts and prayers coming!

Love,

Cort
