Happy Wednesday Friends! As some of you know I had scans of my chest, abdomen, and pelvis on Monday and an infusion scheduled for Tuesday. It was a busy start to the week.

The Results

The scan results came in Monday afternoon and there were no new lesions and my liver lesions had decreased in size. Not a lot, but some. So yay! Great news there. Your thoughts, prayers, vibes, and manifesting are working! PLEASE keep it up!

The Speed Bumps

Unfortunately, the chemo pill (Cabometryx) dose I am taking has too high of a toxicity level for me to continue. They have me on hold due to all the blisters and sores. I will restart the chemo when the blisters and sores are healed.

Now, I was to have immunotherapy yesterday but my bloodwork came back pretty terrible. My liver and pancreas enzymes are through the roof! And I mean through the roof. That does explain why I have been feeling so bad b/c all of my levels are off. Since the bloodwork was so bad, I could not have immunotherapy yesterday. They are putting me on prednisone to help me heal faster. I was incredibly disappointed. I felt like I made two steps forward, and two steps back. But after sleeping on it, I feel differently.

Yes, I am completely nervous about not being on the chemo pill or the immunotherapy, but my poor body could use the break. I have been unable to wear my prosthetic because of the blisters and have pretty much been attached to the couch. Which you know is NOT where I like to be. I am also not a fan of prednisone but I have been feeling so lousy that I would do anything to feel better.

So fingers crossed I can get healed up and my levels will go back down quickly. I'm ready to have a fun summer with my boys. Not sitting on the couch rotting and asking for help. If you know of anyone wanting to book a trip for 2025 or 2026 send them my way. I am booorrrrreeeeedd! Anyway, that is the update. As always, thank you for all your prayers and thoughts, keep them coming!!!

Love, Cort
