The Procedure
Hi all! I just realized I left you hanging after my disappointing news. So to recap, scans found a tumor inside the bone in my arm. On Friday (June 7th) I will be having a biopsy and a radio-frequency ablation (RAF) on the tumor. This will tell us if the tumor is malignant and the type of malignancy. The RAF is to burn the tumor. After that is completed and we have results, we will get additional scans to see if the tumor was completely removed. We will then discuss the next steps at that time. For my mental health, (huge shoutout to my therapist!!!!) I try to take everything one step at a time. I would appreciate any prayers, thoughts, good karma, pixie dust, or whatever you throw around - send it my way PLEASE! The best case scenario is it is benign which is what we are holding out hope for. But if it is not, please pray they can get the whole tumor with the RAF.

The Heels
You may recall from a previous post that my amazing neighbors put together a raffle to help me get a height-adjustable foot so I can wear heels again. We had a previously planned vacay for the week after finding out about my tumor. Ugh, I hate typing and saying tumor. I totally forgot to name it! I'm going to name him............Voldemort. (Shoutout to my fellow Potter nerds!) Oops, my mind wandered a bit there. Anyway, we went ahead with the vacay, and boy am I glad we did. It was exactly what we needed.
Best part - I got to dress up and feel like a girlie girl again! What a freeing feeling to wear what I want to wear. It was the confidence boost I have been missing. I truly feel whole again. I know it seems silly to some, but it matters so much to me and I have to learn to take care of myself! Let's just say I walked around with a little pep in my step!
That is all I have for now. I'll keep you posted on the results and next steps when I know them. I'll take all your prayers, thoughts, etc.
