First, I would like to thank everyone for their kind, supportive, and uplifting words. I feel them and I use them to motivate me. Second, let me make this VERY clear.....I am not going down without one hell of a fight. Just thought I would put that out there.
I went in for my new socket but unfortunately, it was too small. Thankfully, they had created an "oopsie" one a little bit back and that one worked a little. So I am wearing the oopsie until the too-small one fits. Life as an amputee is maddening. Something works great one day, but not the next. Your socket fitting depends upon, the weather, what you eat, hormones, etc. I swear it never fits the same. I have become a little more aggravated with it lately and I feel it is because I cut my leg off to be cancer-free and...here I sit with cancer again. I guess I felt like it was all for nothing. I think my anger is making me a little impatient with my socket at this time. This too shall pass.
I know staying positive is key! I have been spending time trying to write down all the places I want to see and things I want to do. This doesn't include the obvious things like watching J graduate, taking him to college, dancing at his wedding, etc. These are just things I have always wanted to do. I would like to start crossing some of these items ASAP!

When I became a travel agent, I set a first-year goal for myself. To obtain my AITA Card. It generally takes agents 2-3 years to obtain their card. This card allows you to receive personal discounts on hotel rooms, cruises, etc. To work on my bucket list, it would be so much more helpful if I had my IATA card. So here is what I am going to ask from YOU!
PLEASE help me hit my goal!! I am a little more than halfway to my goal. If you could help spread the word about my TA services I would greatly appreciate it! I DO NOT cost my clients anything. My commission comes from the company. I wanted to have a light-hearted post for once. Things are difficult for me right now and I have good days and bad days. Focusing on fun things like this helps me! It forces me to see the future. I also am so happy to be concentrating on work again. I was hopeless for a bit but I am digging myself out to see the sunlight!
Love,
Cort
